Guitar Sessions 39: Limber up with scales in thirds
I confess, I’m not that much of a scale player. I understand why they’re important, but I’ve always found running scales up and down to be a little mechanical.
However, there’s one particular scale-based exercise I love, and I use it all the time for warming up and generally just getting my fingers moving around the fretboard. I find it really helpful for melody and lead playing too.
