On Labor Day, Wendy Sassafras Ramsay and I made a little video, in my backyard under the apple tree that's loaded with fruit this year, of one of our favorite covers: "We Used to Be Birds," by Jonathan Byrd (originally recorded with his duo the Barn Birds).
